Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean is to make her recorded debut, singing as part of a “gang” on a forthcoming album by Amanda Palmer. Bean will appear on the debut by Evelyn Evelyn, a project by the Dresden Dolls frontwoman and her bandmate Jason Webley.
The Evelyn Evelyn concept is, er, high. Palmer and Webley provide musical accompaniment to a pair of “conjoined twins who … spent their lives trapped in the circus industry”. According to the album’s principal conceit, Lyn and Eva Neville are real people, with a real Twitter account, born in 1985 and sharing “three legs, two arms, two hearts, three lungs and a single liver”. In spite of the gussied-up MySpace page, we suspect Palmer and Webley have been having fun in their dress-up box.
